Mathew Ryan Desha, a white male, ran a red light just after 7:20 a.m. on Solon Road and hit Pearl’s Ford Taurus at the intersection of Richmond Road. The impact pushed Pearl’s car several feet east onto Solon Road. Desha’s Jeep flipped several times and landed on its roof about 50 feet from Pearl’s car, police said., Early Saturday morning.

Witnesses said Desha exited his car with a rifle. One witnesses said then proceeded to execute the motorist who exited the other accident vehicle in cold blood. Oh! the other party held her hands other high above her head to stave off tension when Desha executed her, ISIS style.
The victim was Deborah Pearl, a 53-year-old African-American mother and employee of a Cleveland area Harley Davidson Diner in Northeast Ohio, was on her to way work.
As Matthew Desha exited his vehicle he felt empowered to act judge, jury and executioner. He grabbed his 5.56-millimeter high powered assault rifle. Pearl then proceeded to put her hands in the air at the sight of armed stranger approaching.
Desha proceeded to shoot shot Deborah Pearl, several times. According to an eye witness, he fired at least 12 shots.

The 911 caller heard Deborah Pearl, begin screaming. Desha then began aiming and firing at her.

While it has not yet been released how many times she was hit, when police arrived the scene, Officers found Pearl lying in the roadway. She died after paramedics took her to University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center, the Cuyahoga. Pearl’s husband, who came to the scene, had plenty of tears and few words.
Matthew Desha was arrested near the scene. He was charged with the murder of Deborah Pearl, Monday. Police have not listed a motive for the murder.

A reporter for cleveland19 Barbara Bartels, Bartels was reporting the accident in front of her house when she witnessed the driver of an SUV roll out of his flipped jeep with a rifle in hand, shooting.
“There’s a car flipped over in front of our house and another car on the corner,” said Barbara Bartels during a desperate 911 call.
“He was shooting randomly,” said Bartels.
The victim’s son, Derryo Pearl said, “Word’s can’t explain what we’re going through. This is the roughest patch a human being can go through. I’ve gone through tough times before, but it wasn’t like this.”
Police records show Desha has priors. He was arrested in June and charged with one felony count of carrying a concealed weapon and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. A police search of his s car turned up a loaded 9 mm handgun and three additional loaded magazines, along with straws with residue of a schedule III drug.
