According to a TMZ report, The suspect had initially told them that he and Naegle were at a bar near Alpine Village when she said she wanted to go to an after-party. He claimed he was too tired and he left without her but the CCTV footage shows otherwise.
Jackie Jerome Rogers has now confessed to murdering Naegle to LAPD.
34-year-old Rogers confessed to killing Lisa Marie early Sunday morning and burying her body in his backyard near Inglewood, CA. law enforcement sources say Lisa Marie was struck on the head, 7 times with a hammer, after she and Jackie went to a Jack in the Box bar.
Rogers also confessed Lisa Marie had just told him she was breaking up with him and going back to her.

Neagle a 36-year-old registered nurse texted her inquiring husband Derek Harryman, around 2.45 am to let him know she was grabbing food and then coming home. Two days passed without Harryman hearing a word from his wife.
After the suspect’s admission, investigators found Naegle’s body naked and face down in a shallow grave at his Inglewood, California home, on Tuesday evening.
Rogers is a student of Naegle, who taught a college nursing class.
Since Naegle vanished, her family members have been doing their own detective work, tracking down surveillance footage that now shed some light into her disappearance.

The coroner’s office retrieved the naked body of Lisa Naegle from a shallow grave in Jackie Rogers’ backyard. She allegedly suffered extensive blunt force trauma
They uncovered surveillance footage of Lisa leaving the party with Rogers, another scene shows her getting into Rogers’ SUV and leaving the parking lot. Cops searched Rogers’ vehicle and found evidence linking him to Naegle and possibly her murder.
Lisa’s sister, Danielle Naegle-Kaimona, said Rogers repeatedly told the family that he did not leave the party with Naegle.
On Monday Naegle’s family invited Rogers to their home. They said his story began to change as they asked him questions, and they called the police.

“We begged and pleaded that he’d come to our home to kind of give us details on what time, where were things, and when he left her, but while he was talking to us and telling us his story, multiple different times he said he absolutely did not go home with her, or did not take her home,” Naegle-Kaimona said.
Naegle’s family had confronted Rogers after seeing surveillance footage, which they said showed Naegle getting into Rogers’ car. Other attendees also sent the family multiple photos of her Lisa with Rogers at the party.
Naegle was on the 2010 edition of the E! reality show Bridalplasty, where women compete for a dream wedding and plastic surgery.
The exact nature of the relationship so far has been a bit fuzzy. Under interrogation Rogers told cops he was having an affair with Lisa Naegle, claiming that was his reason for switching up his story with her family. However, Naegle-Kaimona said her sister had told her that Rogers was gay.

Naegle-Kaimona said Rogers initially denied any involvement.
‘We begged and pleaded that he’d come to our home to kind of give us details on what time, where were things, and when he left her, but while he was talking to us and telling us his story, multiple different times he said he absolutely did not go home with her, or did not take her home,’ Naegle-Kaimona said.
Rogers later altered his story to say that Naegle had gotten into his car but had gotten out moments later, the family said. The family then said they called the police, who detained Rogers.
Lisa Marie Naegle finished fourth on Bridalplasty, a 2010 reality show about a group of women who moved into a mansion to compete for a dream wedding and plastic surgery.
