Florida couple found who were found dead in car with three children alive in backseat is suspected to have overdosed.
Daniel Kelsey, 32, and Heather Kelsey, 30, were stopped along Interstate 4 at about 1:30 am Saturday when a state trooper got sight of the still vehicle with hazard lights
Daniel Kelsey, 32, and Heather Kelsey were both in the backseat, unconscious suspected to have been caused by a drug overdose
Both died within minutes of each other
Their infant son and his two brothers, ages 1 and 2, were found alive, in backseat as well
Married for nearly six years, they both had histories of drug use, cops say no signs of trauma found on either
Daniel Kelsey, 32, and Heather Kelsey, 30, were stopped along Interstate 4 at about 1:30 am Saturday when a state trooper got sight of the still vehicle with hazard lights blinking.The couple were unresponsive with their three children Aiden Kelsey, 2; Nicholas Kelsey, 1; and infant Joseph Kelsey, alive and unharmed in their car seats inside of the maroon-colored Ford Freestyle by a trooper, Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes said.

Heather Kelsey was pronounced dead at 2:20 am, while her husband passed just minutes after.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported that both Daniel and Heather Kelsey allegedly, suffered from a long history of drug addiction.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood while addressing the media on the subject said there were no signs of foul play in the couple’s deaths. There were also no outward signs of trauma.
“At first glance, investigators feel he was an overdose,” Chitwood said. “There was some concern with the female that an autopsy will clear up.”

Condolence massages from family and friends of Daniel and Heather Kelsey have been posted on Heather’s Facebook page.
Sister-in-law Meghan Costello wrote, “This year was hard for all of us, but the love you showed for Mike, Heather, your mom and those boys never faded.”
A cousin to the family also shared, “Not the news I wanted right now. Another family member gone. Rest easy cousin. Watch over all of us.”
