Sex swap murder convict sent back to mens’ wing after failing to heed warnings to cease intimate relations in female jail
Paris Green, born Peter Laing, and two friends were sentenced for at least 18 years in 2013
They tortured and murdered Robert Shankland, 46, after a row over a bag of potato chips
Green, 23, was born a man but defines herself as a woman and awaiting gender reassignment, was housed on a female wing in HMP Edinburgh, Scotland
Prison source say “The women want sex and Paris is the only person who can give it to them”
This is the second time authorities have had to move Green for having relations with other inmates in a female prison
Transgender convict Paris Green has been moved to the mens’ wing
A transgender woman convicted of murder who was moved to a female wing of a prison has been sent back after sleeping with inmates of the wing.
Paris Green, 23, who was born a man but defines herself as a woman, was housed on a female wing in HMP Edinburgh, Scotland. Green, who has yet to have a gender reassignment surgery, has been transferred back to the male block because she has been sleeping with female prisoners.
The transgender murderer was sent back to the men’s wing after having intimate relations with inmates in the female wing
A source said of Green, who has been warned repeatedly by prison authorities over the behavior: “The women want sex and Paris is the only person who can give it to them.
“She was warned about her behaviour several times but it didn’t stop her. In the end prison bosses decided enough was enough and sent her back to the male wing,” the source said
This is the second time prison authorities have had to move Green since her murder conviction in 2013, following similar allegations.
In 2013 she was moved from Corton Vale women’s jail, near Stirling, amid claims of “inappropriate behaviour” with women.
Paris, who was born Peter Laing, was allowed to go to a women’s prison as she is still waiting for a sex change on the National Health Service.
She was jailed with two pals for at least 18 years in 2013 for torturing and murdering Robert Shankland, 46, at a flat in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland
They lured him to a flat and then battered him to death after a row over a bag of chips.
