He faces a domestic violence battery charge as well as a charge of kidnapping and false imprisonment of an adult.

Photos of the alleged victim obtained by TMZ show a number of black and blue marks on her left upper arm and bicep region. There are also several discernible marks on her forearm.
Gordon was hit last November with $36 million in damages to Bobbi Kristina’s estate. He is still under criminal investigation for her death.
Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston and her husband, the rapper Bobby Brown, was just 22 when she died two years ago.
The aspiring singer was discovered face down in the bathtub of her north Atlanta home in January 2015 and died about six months later without coming out of a coma.
Her death came six months after she fell into a coma that she would never wake from, after Gordon found her body submerged in a bathtub at the home they shared. An autopsy found that drug intoxication and the immersion of her face in the water contributed to her death.
Gordon was found legally responsible for the death in a civil case in 2015. Last year, he was ordered to pay Brown’s family $36million.

Gordon continues to deny the allegations, insisting he tried to save Brown’s life.
However Gordon conceded the civil suit by default, contempt as neither nor his attorney showed up at Fulton County Superior Court for the hearing, forcing Judge T. Jackson Bedford to rule against him in September 2015.
Ware provided a breakdown of the award, saying that among other accounts the judge assessed nearly $14million for pain and suffering, about $4.5million in punitive damages, and $1.575million for money allegedly taken from her account and stolen jewelry.
However, collecting on the civil award will be difficult, it seems.
Nick Gordon reportedly was so cash strapped, he could not afford to pay attention to proceedings in his civil case, that renders the $36 million to Bobbi Kristina’s estate almost meaningless.
A source close to his legal team was quoted as saying after the $36 million judgment: “You can order a gajillian dollars but what will you collect?”
That source added, “One day they may collect part of it. If he wins the lottery.”
A Brown family spokesperson also doubts the estate will be able to collect the full judgment, he added, ‘Collection is not the issue; justice is.’
Brown’s mother Whitney Houston died in similar circumstances three years earlier. The multi-award winning singer drowned in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel.
Authorities said cocaine abuse and heart disease contributed to Houston’s death on Feb. 11, 2012.
