A 25-year-old man accused of killing a teen prostitute and burying her in a storage container in his backyard has been extradited back to Florida after being arrested in Virginia last month.
Authorities say hired 19-year-old Brittney Taylor after soliciting her online. He met her at a motel near Fort Lauderdale in May.
Surveillance video shows Taylor going into the room where Pearson was staying, and it also shows Pearson later pushing out a stroller with a blue storage container.
He investigation led detectives to Pearson’s home in Fort Lauderdale, where they found the teen’s remains buried in the backyard last month, according to the Sun Sentinel.
Pearson’s girlfriend, who did not know about Taylor, picked him up from the hotel, and he told her that he needed to take clothes and other items to a storage unit, according to Local 10 News.

According to the Broward Sheriff’soffice, Tyquan Pearson was placed in police custody Wednesday for murdering 19-year-old Taylor whom he solicited online for sex at a Tamarac hotel, in May.
Brittney Taylor, was driven by a man described as her boyfriend to the Comfort Suites on May 25, at around 11 a.m. However, that was the last time she was seen alive.
When Taylor’s boyfriend got worried, he called her brother, James, who then contacted Broward Sheriff’s Officers to file a missing person’s report.
Investigators then showed James a prostitution website with Taylor’s picture on it.
“They said, ‘Is this your sister?’ I said, ‘Yeah, that’s her.’ I didn’t know she was doing that. I didn’t want to believe that,” James said.
Pearson, who is a fiancé and a father, got a hold of Taylor through the website.

According to BSO detectives, surveillance video showed Taylor arriving at the hotel that morning and later showed Pearson leaving the room four hours later, pushing a stroller that carried a storage container.
When detectives interviewed Pearson, he admitted to soliciting her services, but when his girlfriend called to say that she was on her way back to the hotel, he claimed that he told Taylor to wait until he was gone and to let herself out. Pearson claimed she was gone when he got back.
Detectives said Pearson’s unsuspecting girlfriend picked him up from the hotel. Investigators said Pearson told her that he needed to go to a storage unit to drop off some clothes and other items that he planned to give away.
Pearson’s former home in Fort Lauderdale Fla, was the burial site
Investigators went to a Fort Lauderdale home where they believed Pearson could have tried to hide the evidence of his crime. It was there that Taylor’s decomposing remains were found in a blue storage container buried in the backyard.
Authorities tracked Pearson to Norfolk, Va., and transferred him to South Florida on Tuesday.
He is being held without bail and faces one count of first-degree murder.
Taylor’s family said last month they were shocked that she would resort to prostitution. They found out that the transaction involving Pearson was for $280.
