Laura Ramos, a married teacher, is accused of having sex with multiple special education students at Central High School in Bridgeport, Conn.
A former high school teacher in Connecticut won’t be accused of playing favorites after she allegedly had sex with at least four male special education students, police said Wednesday.
The allegations surfaced after Laura Ramos had already been charged for sexually assaulting an 18-year-old special education student at Central High School in Bridgeport, Conn.
Ramos, 31, initially surrendered to police June 20, after she learned there was a warrant out for her arrest as the first accusations emerged.
She admitted to having sex with the student “a handful of times” between December 2016 and April 2017. She said they usually had sex in her car.
New allegations involve a second male student, with whom Ramos is accused of having sex in a Shelton restaurant. Police said there at least two other victims, the New Haven Register reported.

“My client voluntarily surrendered to police and we are awaiting the paperwork indicating the basis for the new charges,” Ramos’s lawyer, Edward Gavin said, the New Haven Register reported.
“Laura Ramos continues to maintain her innocence and we look forward to the progression of the case.”
Ramos resigned from the school after her first arrest, in which she was charged with second-degree assault.
Police said a second student has reported that he also had sex with Ramos.
He said they had sex in the parking lot of a restaurant after having dinner together, police said.
Police also said that Ramos complained to the student that her husband no longer wanted to have sex with her. She took the teen to a restaurant in Shelton, and the pair had sex in the restaurant’s “electrical room.”
Ramos then told the teen it was the best sex she had ever had in a text message, police said.
Ramos was a Special Education teacher at Central High School in Bridgeport, Conn.
Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Tatiana Messina and Superior Court Judge William Holden issued a written order barring Ramos from having contact with her alleged victims.
The former Central High School teacher initially denied having a relationship with the 18-year-old student when questioned by detectives on June 12.
Ramos, however, eventually confessed to having sex with the teen a “handful of times” between December 2016 through April. She told police they mostly had sex in her car.
Ramos was placed on administrative leave June 9 and resigned amid her termination proceedings.
