Police in LA are searching for this yet to be identified woman who attacked a 92-year-old man with a brick, on July 4

A 92-year-old Mexican grandfather was taking a stroll around his Los Angeles neighborhood on the Fourth of July when his family says he was viciously attacked with a brick by a woman and four men, in what appears to be a hate crime.
According to the family members, Rodolfo Rodriguez was walking through his neighborhood around 8pm when he accidentally bumped into a young girl as he was trying to get around her, the Sacramento Bee reports.

The child’s mother allegedly exploded shoving Rodriguez to the ground and then picked up a brick and hit him in the face with it.

The horrific incident, which also included four men kicking and cursing the elderly man, was captured by a bystander who called authorities.
According to the passer-by who stopped to record the incident on video, the four men ran up and began kicking Rodriguez while the child’s mother shouted at him.
“Go back to your country, why are you here, bad things,” the woman screamed at Rodriguez, the witness said.

The 92-year-old man has been hospitalized following the beating by the brick-wielding woman and several others in a brutal attack that occurred on July 4.
Rodriguez suffered a broken cheekbone and two broken ribs, in addition to facial injuries. He remains hospitalized.

A woman in the area caught the terrifying incident on cell phone video and said four men joined the mom in beating the grandfather. The witness told the Sacramento Bee that the mother told Rodriguez: ‘Go back to your country, why are you here?’
The eyewitness said she called the police and asked the mother why she attacked the man, and was told by the mother that Rodriguez had tried to touch her daughter. The woman who witnessed the attack said that was a lie.
Rodriguez, who doesn’t understand English and is a legal US resident, said he doesn’t understand why the mob attacked him.
One photo released by his family showed the elderly man with blood dripping down his face. Another showed Rodriguez in his hospital bed with bruises on his nose, mouth and cheek and swollen eyes.
His family said Rodriguez suffered broken ribs and a broken cheekbone.
