29-year-old Eric Holder, a wannabe rapper known as ‘S****y cuz’, was takeen into custody at around 1.30pm on Tuesday
He was taken into custody in Bellflower area of in LA, around 20 miles from where the murder happened hours after unconfirmed reports he is now wanted by the Crips, the gang to which both he and Hussle once belonged
On saturday Holder was caught on camera approaching Hussle and two of his associates in the parking lot, they argued then he went away, only to returned with a handgun
Holder shot all three men, Holder fatally, before fleeing in a white Chevy Cruze driven by a female accomplice
Police are still hunting the female getaway driver who reached out to TMZ claiming she was unaware of holder’s motives before, or even after the shooting when he returned to the car and they fled togather from the scene
Hussle was once a member of the Rollin’ 60s gang, as was Holder
In recent years, he had been working to stamp out gang violence and was investing in south L.A.
He was due to meet with police chiefs soon to discuss ways to end gun violence

He was arrested at around 1.30pm but no further details have been released.
It came after his alleged getaway driver, a woman who is yet to be named, spoke out to say she had no idea he had just shot Hussle when he came running back to their car on Sunday.
The woman has not been named publicly but told TMZ she was with Eric Holder, aka ‘S****y cuz’, on Sunday when he shot the rapper outside his clothing store in south Los Angeles.
She says Holder, who was arrested at 1.30pm on Tuesday, did not tell her what he was planning when he got out his vehicle and approached Hussle to shoot him then returned.
She claims he said nothing when he got back in her vehicle and that she is in no way an accomplice.
Police sources say he and the rapper were known to one another and that it was a gang-related killing but they have not revealed further details or suggested a motive but they say it was ‘personal’ and had not been ordered by gang leaders.

Now, it is being claimed online that he has been ‘green lit’ by the Crips, the gang to which he belonged and allegedly ‘snitched’ on, to be killed.
Hussle was a hero in southern L.A. where he was trying to legitimize gang members by developing the area and eradicating violence.
He was a former Rollin’ 60s member but was eager to work with the LAPD to stamp out gang wars peacefully and maintained strong relationships with the community.

LAPD Chief Michael Moore urged him to turn himself in to the authorities on Tuesday, hours before he was caught.
‘To Mr. Holder, who I am confident is watching this and listening to these media accounts, I ask him to surrender.
‘Find a local law enforcement agency, go to a station and surrender. Stop this. Stop this from continuing,’ he said.
He added that he posed a ‘substantial risk’ to the public.
Police are also hunting a female getaway driver who is said to have sped off with Holder after he allegedly fired the fatal shots.
Two other men who were with Hussle were also shot but they survived with injuries.
Hussle’s death has rocked the music and entertainment industry.
His long-term girlfriend, actress Lauren London, is yet to comment on his death.

On Monday night, chaos broke out outside Marathon Clothing, the store which he owned and where he was killed, as hundreds of people who had gathered to pay their respects started running from the scene without explanation.

The LAPD commissioner Steve Soboroff said he was ‘very sad’ about the news when it emerged on Monday.
On Tuesday, he and others gave a heartfelt tribute to the rapper as they pleaded for his killer to hand himself in.
Soboroff fought back tears as he read aloud an email that Hussle sent him on February 26 about working together. It read: ‘Our goal is to work with the department to help improve communication, relationships, and work towards changing the culture and dialogue between the LAPD and the inner city.
‘We want to hear about your new programs and your goals for the department as well as how we can help stop gang violence and help you help kids.’
He was writing on behalf of himself and Roc Nation and the meeting was due to happen on Monday, the day after he died.
While it is not thought to be related to his killing, police say it is symptomatic of the city’s gang violence problem.
Commissioner Soboroff said he had even picked out his clothes for the meeting because he was so excited for it.
‘I was ready for the meeting, I was excited about the meeting. Here was somebody coming in to say, “How can we help? How can we be a partner?”
‘On Sunday morning, I took out my clothes for Monday. I was going to wear a save th children tie. It was all ready to go,’ he said.

The LAPD commissioner said he was ‘very sad’ about the news when it emerged on Monday.
Surveillance video captured the moment the rapper was killed. The video captured a man, now allegedly believed to be Holder, approaching Hussle and a group of men as they stood by a white car parked at the front of his store.
Seconds later, Hussle could be seen dropping to the ground while multiple men fled the scene as the gunfire rang out.
The gunman could be seen firing from a distance before approaching and shooting multiple times at close range.
He then appeared to kick Hussle before fleeing the same way he came.


Police said Holder fled the scene in a white, four-door 2016 Chevy Cruze, with the license plate number 7RJD742. The car was being driven by the unidentified female.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding Holder but no additional details about him were released.
Sources told the Los Angeles Times that Holder had gotten into a dispute with the rapper in the lead up to the shooting.

Prior to Holder’s name being released, sources said detectives believed the gunman was someone the Hussle knew and that he had gang ties. The sources added that shooting was likely personal and not part of a larger gang feud.
Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital.
He suffered gunshot wounds to his head and torso, according to the L.A. County Medical Coroner.
The two other men who were injured in the shooting remain in stable conditions.
