Joana Sainz, 30, was performing Saturday night with the group Super Hollywood Orchestra when a pyrotechnic device exploded at a festival in Las Berlanas, local outlet El Norte de Castilla reported.
The explosive device struck the Sainz in the abdomen, she then collapsed onstage.
She was brought to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Footage of the incident showed the 15-member group dancing on stage before the explosion abruptly ended the performance.
“A night that started partying and ended up in a terrible tragedy,” wrote a fan who posted a clip on Facebook of the pyrotechnic incident.
Sainz was the principal dancer of the orchestra and responsible for the choreographies of the 15 man ensemble , whose performance was suspended after the event, which occurred shortly before two in the morning.
