The search for the suspect in three seperate murders ended early Friday in the British midlands after the fugitive was taken into custody today.
Police arrested Anthony Russell after a five-day manhunt when he was found in a stolen car in a Staffordshire village this morning.
Russell, 38, is the main suspect in the murders of David Williams, 32, and his 58-year-old mother, Julie Williams, in Coventry.

Authorities have said Russell is a suspect in a third homicide after the body of a woman was found in Leamington Spa, Warwick on Thursday. The remains police said belongs to 31-year-old local, Nichola McGregor.
Russell was a drug user and often slept rough, police said warning members of the public that the suspected killer is “extremely dangerous” and “should not be approached”.
West Midlands Police said Russell had been found in a stolen red Ford C-Max car in a country lane about 4am Friday.
According to the police statement police: “Officers on patrol discovered the suspect in a red Ford C-Max car, stolen in a car-jacking in Leamington on Wednesday afternoon, in a country lane in the village of Rolleston-on-Dove around 4am. The suspect, a drug user, has links to Coventry
“He has been arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery in relation to the car. He will be questioned later today,” the statement adds.

Police had launched an urgent manhunt for Russell after the body of David Williams was discovered on Monday – the day after his mother, Julie, was found dead at her apartment in Riley Square, Coventry.
Julie Williams was discovered at her apartment at Emily Smith House, Riley Square, just before 11pm on Sunday, during a welfare check. David who lived with his mother, was last seen on October 20 and reported missing on Saturday evening.
He was found dead at a nearby apartment, also in Riley Square, at around 11.30pm on Monday. Â
Three days later police found another body around 11 miles away in woodland in Newbold Comyn near Leamington which they have liked to Russell.
She has now been formally identified as a local resident, 31-year-old Nichola McGregor, from Leamington.

In a tribute to McGregor today, one of her friends wrote: “Always in my heart.
“R.I.P Nicole Mcgregor, you’ll be sadly missed but never going to be forgotten from me.”
Another added: “She was a beautiful girl, didn’t deserve the life to end so tragically.”
Midlands police said they have “information which suggests Russell may be connected to [McGregor’s] death”.
The causes of death for the Williams mother and son are yet to be established, and post-mortems are due to take place in due course.
