At 4pm on Sunday, while he was about to be escorted into the McKeesport police station, in Allegheny County, PA, Koby Lee Francis, pulled out another hidden gun and fired

After 22-year-old Koby Lee Francis taken into custody for a parole violation on Sunday in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, he allegedly shot his arresting officer three times outside the police station then fled the scene, all while still handcuffed.
The manhunt continued Monday morning for Francis of McKeesport, and the 32-year-old officer, who has not been publicly identified, remains hospitalized in stable condition, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Francis was arrested outside a McKeesport residence around 4 p.m. Sunday for violating a protection from abuse order issued barely an hour earlier. Officers confiscated a gun from his car, where he was found, but no other weapons were discovered when they searched him as part of the arrest.
While being transported to the McKeesport police station, Francis was “combative” and kicked out a window of the police car, according to the Allegheny County Police Department.

When they arrived at the station, the officer opened the police car door to take the ssuspect out of the vehicle.
Francis however, at this point pulled out another hidden gun and fired, hitting the officer three times in the neck and torso.
Surveillance footage from outside the station shows Francis fleeing the station on foot with his hands handcuffed in front of him. Officials said he had originally been handcuffed with his hands behind his back, but it’s unclear how he manipulated the position.
Francis who is described as a black male, 6′2″ tall with a thin build, black hair and black eyes. was last seen wearing a black hoodie, camouflage pants and black shoes with white soles.
He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
He faces being charged with criminal attempted homicide, flight to avoid apprehension, aggravated assault and violation of the Uniform Firearms Act, according to officials.
