An 19-year-old rapper executed on a sports field, a second man shot dead and a 25-year-old woman killed in a devastating bomb blast are just the latest victims of Stockholm’s gangland violence as the streets of the Swedish capital descended into carnage amid a spate of lawlessness, with the three murders being committed within a 12 hour span overnight Wednesday to early Thursday. 
Nils Kurt Erik Einar Gronberg, the son of Swedish actress Lena Nilsson, better known by his stage name Einar, who raps in Swedish, was the most streamed artist on Spotify in Sweden in 2019.

Late on Wednesday, the artiste was killed at the Mälarhöjden sports ground in Fruängen in southern Stockholm in a brazen attack during a soccer training session. He victim was shot several times outside an apartment building. Ambulance personnel administered first aid but he died at the scene.
Within hours, one man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in Jordbro, south of the Swedish capital.
The Minutes after police were called to reports of gunfire, a pickup truck crashed into a house in the area before two men ran from the vehicle.

Many of Einar’s songs reference a life of crime, including drugs and weapons, had public feuds with rival artist Yasin, who in July was jailed for 10 months for his role in a planned kidnapping of Einar in 2020.
The plan was ultimately aborted, but Einar was abducted several weeks later without Yasin’s involvement.
Einar was beaten, robbed, photographed in humiliating conditions and blackmailed, according to prosecutors. 
The kidnapping was part of a broader case involving 30 suspects in a criminal network accused of a variety of crimes.
Among the suspects was another rapper, Haval Khalil, who was sentenced in July to two-and-a-half years in prison for complicity in the kidnapping and who has also had public spats with Einar.
The verdict was appealed and the case is currently being heard by the Svea Court of Appeal, which is expected to go on until December. One local media report Friday said Einar was living with a “price on his head” after a series of threats against him which had escalated recently.

One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in Jordbro, south of the Swedish capital

Police believe the woman, a graduate student who was studying to become a teacher, was not the target of the bomb.
The real target was a relative of gangster Rawa Majid, known as the ‘Purple Fox’, who was living next door to the victim but appears to have been away at the time according to local media reports
‘There were panicked screams and the smell of smoke,’ a neighbor said, ‘It was as if we are in a war zone.’
It was not known whether the shootings or the blast were related, but Swedish media said at least two of the three events were connected to a feud between criminal gangs, a growing problem in Sweden with drive-by shootings and bombings.

Two gangs, one led by Swedish-Turkish dual national Rawa Majid and the other allegedly led by Mikael Tenezos, a former junior ice hockey player known as ‘The Greek’, are reportedly fighting over drugs and weapons.
Tenezos is suspected of being one of being one of Sweden’s biggest drug dealers as the leader of the Valley Network, known as ‘Dalen’, and sees Majid as a threat. 
Majid’s attempts to muscle in on the local drug trade are said to have put him in conflict with Tenezos, with the pair ordering attacks on associates or friends of each other in the Stockholm area.
Police said six people in their 20s – one woman and five men – have been arrested in relation to the fatal shooting in Jordbro, Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan, reports.
Worried residents called police just before midnight on Wednesday night after they heard gunfire on the street below their homes. Police arrived at the scene and found two men injured, one critically, lying on the floor in the street.

One of the men, who has not been named, died of his injuries in hospital while the second is being treated for less serious injuries. Police have now launched an investigation into murder and attempted murder. 
Police said that two people have been arrested over the Uppsala explosion, which was so violent that the facades of two houses were blown away.
In relation to the fatal shooting of Einar, police said they are looking for a grey Toyota RAV4 with tinted rear windows.
