A disgraced Washington state police officer, Elias Huizar, is on the run after he allegedly shot dead his ex-wife and his 17-year-old live-in girlfriend before abducting the one-year-old boy he shares with one of the victims..
Amber Marie Rodriguez was killed outside Wile Elementary School in West Richland, 200 miles south east of Seattle, on Monday.
Police entering the home of the 39-year-old suspect found the body of yet another dead female. Her family has identified this second victim as 17-year-old Angelica ‘Jelly’ Santos, the mother of one-year-old Roman Huizar, who Elias Huizar has been accused of kidnapping

Mother-of-two Amber Marie Rodriguez [photo], 31, an employee of Wile Elementary School in West Richland. She was shot dead by her ex-husband Elias Huizar outside the school on Monday. She divorced Huizar in 2020  

Huizar, a former Yakima police officer, shared Roman with Santos, who was 15 year’s old when she was impregnated, according to police.
Officers believe Huizar is headed for Mexico in a 2009 silver Toyota Corolla with WA plates CBZ4745. He is considered armed and dangerous. 
The former school cop was due in court Monday to face child rape charges; he is accused of raping his under-aged girlfriend and her 16-year-old friend.
In February, Huizar pled not guilty to rape charges. Days before the two murders, Rodriguez had filed for a new custody arrangement involving their two children.

The shooting was captured by school surveillance cameras and reportedly shows the Huizar firing multiple shots, the victim falling down and the shooter firing more shots.
Rodriguez had multiple fatal gunshot wounds to her head and torso and eight bullet casings were recovered at the scene.
Rodriguez worked at the school where she was killed, according to the Washington State Police. In addition Rodriguez also worked as a real estate agent.

Former school Resource Officer Huizar was due in court accused of raping a drunk 16-year-old girl and his 17-year-old girlfriend whom he is believed to have impregnated when she was 15, according to multiple reports.
Huizar and Rodriguez divorced in 2020 and share two children. Following the rape charges, Rodriguez filed to modify their custody agreement and had requested a protection order, because she believed he was a threat to her and their children.

Authorities confirmed that a dead body had been found at Huizar’s home in in West Richland, Washington, as they were conducting a search. Police said he also killed his girlfriend

Rodriguez claimed Huizar has been harassing her since the divorce and says he was mentally and emotionally unstable. He also owns guns, she said. 
It was unclear what the result of the case was, a hearing had been set for May 14.  
Huizar served with the police department between 2014 and 2022 and was assigned to be a school resource officer at Washington Middle School in Yakima. It was not clear where he was employed after he’d left the department.

The former school resource officer was then facing charges of a sexual relationship with a minor girl, 15, resulting in a baby and later raping her drunk friend aged 16

As events unfolded on April 22, the family of teen mother Jelly Santos initially believed that she had been abducted alongside her son, asking people on Facebook for help finding them.
However, hours later the family confirmed that Santos had been killed, with her brother Damien Santos posting a pensive: ‘It breaks my heart to write this but unfortunately my sister has passed away at the young age of 17 November 5 2006 – April 22 2024.’

Huizar is on the run after the Monday afternoon shooting just outside of William Wiley Elementary School, where his ex-wife was shot and killed

Huizar and his underage girlfriend have a baby who was nine months old at the time of his February court appearance.
Santos, his 17-year-old girlfriend reported him for the attack on her 16-year-old friend who was staying overnight at their home.
She caught him assaulting her friend and left their shared home with her friend. The two girls left in Huizar’s truck, taking the baby Santos shared with Huizar and drove until they found a Benton County sheriff’s deputy parked in Benton City.
Huizar is a former Yakima police officer and school resource officer, on Feb. 3 he was arrested and accused of raping a teenager in his West Richland home.
When cops went to his home he refused to open the door and they forced their way into the house. He was arrested but released released from the Benton County jail that evening after posting $200,000 bail

Huizar who served with the police dept from 2014 – 2022, was assigned to Washington Middle School in Yakima as a resource officer. On the run driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla, license plate CBZ4745, he is believed to be armed, dangerous and likely to commit more crimes  

Huizar’s child with Santos was born in April 2023, and the pair began living together in the West Richland home when she was 17. He has two children with his ex-wife, who divorced him in 2020.
In the most recent alleged rape, Santos in court documents claims she had gone to sleep in a spare room next to her 16-year-old friend who was feeling sick after all three had spent the evening drinking at the home on February 3.
She then woke to find Huizar attacking her drunken friend before he left the room ‘like nothing had happened’, when she confronted him, according to the Tri-City Herald
He was charged with second-degree rape, furnishing alcohol for minors, and third-degree rape over his relationship with his 17-year-old live-in girlfriend.

Huizar in 2019 secured a protection order against his teenage girlfriend after she told friends they were in a relationship and the friends reported it to the school principal. She was 12 at the time. 
Santos had denied the affair, claiming her account had been hacked when social media posts about the alleged relationship were revealed.
‘A criminal investigation was completed by the Attorney General’s Office and the case was unfounded,’ Huizar wrote in his petition for the protection order.
‘(She) was then expelled from school.’
The petition for an order of protection claimed the teen had contacted Huizar’s then wife, downloaded photos from the couple’s Facebook pages, and taken ‘numerous’ covert photos of Huizar.
Yakima County Judge Gayle Harthcock approved the protection order that prevented the teenage schoolgirl from coming within 500 feet of him or his family for a year. 
Santos claims in the court documents that Huizar contacted her in 2022 when she was 15 and they began a relationship. 
After their child was born in April last year, the pair began living together in the West Richland home, when she was 17.
The age of consent law in Washington is 16 and police have been investigating whether he slept with Santos before she turned legal.

Huizar was charged with second-degree rape, furnishing alcohol for minors, and third-degree rape over his relationship with the 17-year-old.
His bail was set at $200,000 but he has since bonded out of jail with stipulations that he doesn’t contact either of the teens or consume any alcohol. The opening date of his trial was set for Monday.
The shooting occurred at 3:23pm local time during dismissal. Nobody else at the school was injured in the shooting there.

A local resident who reported hearing four to five gunshots while in his backyard Monday afternoon said:
‘I thought it was someone hitting something with a hammer. It didn’t sound like a gun. Then a woman came flying out here before the cops even got here and started screaming that someone was shot.’  
The school district sent an alert to parents, adding that any students still on campus were sent into a secure area.
Richland police also confirmed in a Facebook post immediately after the shooting that officers were headed to the scene.

All after-school activities at the school were canceled. Around 4:45pm, police began getting the locked-down children out of the school. Furthermore, classes were canceled at William Wiley Elementary on Tuesday. 
Huizar’s is trial for child rape set for Mon., April 22, was stricken, according to court documents.
