<p>Giselle Tapia-Salazar, 30, was discovered deceased hanging from a rope near a boat docked in the marina in her hometown League City, Texas on Friday, May 31. <br>The 30-year-old mom and her boyfriend, James Hart, lived on the boat.<br>Investigation into the death of the mother-of-four, who was found hanging from a dock, is reopened as a homicide after it was originally deemed a suicide.<br>The tragedy initially seemed like suicide maybe more sinister on more through inspection, investigators said. Authorities now believe Tapia-Salazar&#8217;s body was posthumously staged to appear like she killed herself.<br>Police also have identified two persons of interests in the case.</p>

<p>The body was discovered by her neighbor, Christian Allen, who found Tapia-Salazar half submerged in the water who pointed out that one of her arms was twisted in an unusual position. <br>&#8216;Because of the position of her arm, we believe she probably passed away somewhere else,&#8217; League City <br>Christian Allen said he never believed the victim took her own life, and added that foul play was probably the cause.: &#8216;I didn&#8217;t buy the whole suicide thing. I want them to catch them because my kids are here, and I don&#8217;t want to live near a murderer,&#8217; Allen said. <br>That is a sentiment police now share. Investigators said they&#8217;re combing through nearly 2,000 surveillance video clips to gather clues. <br>Police Lieutenant Eric Cox told <a href="https://www.khou.com/article/news/crime/league-city-texas-woman-dead-hanging-marina-dock/285-2cb1f73e-a9de-4724-9865-988611e2183a">KHOU</a>: &#8220;Her arm was found suspended up in the air, and there was nothing holding it there. <p>Hart told ABC13 he didn&#8217;t know his girlfriend was dead until police recovered her body that afternoon. He wants to make it clear that he didn&#8217;t hurt the woman he loved, adding that he hopes the video will lead police to whoever killed his girlfriend: &#8220;There&#8217;s so many questions and not many answers. There should be no doubt who did this. There are so many cameras in this marina. There&#8217;s no way this isn&#8217;t all on film&#8221;.<br>However, he said he was unable to watch what happened after she left the boat because both of his surveillance cameras inexplicably failed before her death.<br>&#8216;One camera disappeared and the other was turned by hand, to face away from his boat,&#8217; Hart said.<br>Police said they had responded to disturbance calls at Hart&#8217;s boat in the past. It&#8217;s something neighbors verified.<br>&#8220;Them two fought like crazy and they loved like crazy. Just one of those relationships … arguing one day and hand-in-hand skipping the other day,&#8221; Lt. Allen said.</p>

We just want justice for her. We want whoever is responsible, who did this to my sister, we want them to get charged for what they did to her.&#8217;</p>

<p>Nearby security cameras had been powered off or turned in a different direction during the time of the victim&#8217;s death, according to police.<br>Tapia-Salazar&#8217;s boyfriend, James Hart, vehemently denied being involved in his girlfriend&#8217;s death. Police said Hart was devastated upon hearing the news, and initially refused to come out of their boat to see for himself. <br>&#8216;This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me,&#8217; he said. <br>&#8216;It feels like a nightmare you can&#8217;t wake up from. I didn&#8217;t have anything to do with it and I never would have. I loved Giselle more than anything in the world. We were together 24/7. I want justice for Giselle and for myself.&#8217;</p>
