The 15-year-old boy accused of gunning down his parents and three of his siblings at their ritzy Washington State home has been banned from contacting his sister, who was the sole survivor of the shocking massacre.
The suspect – who has not been named publicly due to his age – was handed to the no contact order during his first court proceedings on Tuesday, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office said.
Prosecutors asked the court to charge the teen with five counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.

The alleged killer’s teen sister was also targeted in the attack, but survived despite being shot twice.
She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after receiving medical aid from a neighbor.
Humiston, a Texas native, was a longtime software engineer at Hargis Engineers in Seattle, according to his LinkedIn.
The suspect’s surviving sister, 11, was shot twice during the disturbing killing spree at the family’s $2 million waterfront log cabin-style home in Fall City.
She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after receiving medical aid from a neighbor.
The children’s parents were identified late Tuesday as Mark Humiston, 42, and his wife, Sarah.
Humiston was a software engineer at Hargis Engineers in Seattle, and his wife Sarah, a registered nurse shared five children, with the 15-year-old as the eldest.
The three slain girls are all believed to have been teenagers.

Deputies responded just before 5 am on Monday after receiving multiple 911 calls about gunfire, King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Mike Mellis, said.
Aside from the 15-year-old male suspect, responding officers found the lifeless bodies of two adults and three young teens riddled with bullets inside the family’s $2 million house in Fall City around 5 am.
The a sixth victim, the girl, had been shot twice during the disturbing massacre.

At least some of the emergency calls are believed to have come from victims who were inside the home and hiding in the bathroom, sources told KIRO 7.
The 15-year-old suspect was immediately arrested at the scene, Mellis explained.
“It does appear to be a family incident, a domestic violence incident that involves a young man who’s in significant trouble, and involves firearms,” he said of the killings, without elaborating on a specific motive.

The suspect is being held in secure detention by King County Juvenile Detention, according to the prosecutor’s office.
A charging decision is expected by the end of the week.
During Tuesday’s proceedings, the teen’s defense attorney noted that the boy had no prior criminal history. The couple who bought their $2M home in the upmarket neighborhood in 2019, homeschooled all their children.
Several neighbors said the the younger kids though home schooled, especially are the sweetest children. So polite.
