Shortly after sending the text, Faison lured Fiengo to a meeting at Coastline Park in Sanford, just north of Orlando, the night Kaylin Fiengo who was already the mom of to a one-year-old son, named Ace, was found dead in the driver’s seat of her still running Nissan versa.

Ten months after the murder, 21-year-old Donovan Faison, the father of Kaylin’s unborn child was arrested and charged with two counts of felony homicide in August 2023
Investigators discovered the pair had been having frequent arguments over Fiengo’s pregnancy in the prior weeks.
Faison reportedly wanted Fiengo to terminate her pregnancy but she refused and investigators believe her refusal was the “probable motive” for her murder, Sanford police said at the time.
“This was an execution-style killing,” prosecutors told the jury, pointing out to the panel that they “should consider the cold, calculated, premeditated nature of this killing,” in their deliberations.
