A female fugitive accused of killing her police officer husband inside their home has been spotted walking down the street in flip flops in new surveillance footage. 
Karen Solomon, 58, is on the run after cops found her spouse Kurt Solomon, 57, dead inside their Massachusetts home during the early hours of Tuesday morning. The father-of-two served as a police officer with the Worcester force for 31 years.
While the manner of death has not been disclosed, detectives from Worcester Police are ‘still actively searching’ for the alleged husband killer, who is listed as armed and dangerous, issuing the advisory ‘We ask the public to remain vigilant and if you see her or can provide any information, please contact the WPD.’

With several agencies involved in the manhunt including State Police, Homeland Security and the US Marshals Office, Worcester Police on Thursday, shared footage of the murder suspect strolling outside a veterinary medical facility about a mile from the crime scene. 
In the footage Karen Solomon can be seen slouching slightly as she walked past the animal center, and at one point glancing over her left shoulder. 
The Ring security video was filmed at about 5.40am on Tuesday, about 10 minutes after officers found her husband dead inside the couple’s home on Wildwood Avenue home, in the Webster Square neighborhood of Worcester.

The couple who had lived inside their $370,000 home for several years do not have records of domestic discord. In her community Karen Solomon was known as a champion for first responders after co-founding FIRST H.E.L.P, a group advocating for the mental health of police officers. 
She also wrote two books about the physical and psychological experiences of emergency responders. 
While cause of death for Kurt Solomon has not been disclosed, Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early has said the tragedy was the fall out of a domestic incident. 
Solomon’s police officer mental health group, First H.E.L.P, released a statement in response to the tragedy. 
‘Our first concern is for the officer who lost his life, his family, his colleagues, and the Worcester law-enforcement community,’ the group said. 
‘We extend our deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragedy.
‘The Board of Directors is focused on maintaining the continuity, integrity, and independence of First H.E.L.P.’s mission, programs, and services to the first-responder community and the families we serve,’ the group added. 

On Thursday, Worcester Police released footage of the alleged killer wife strolling outside a veterinary medical facility about a mile from her home 

‘The organization will continue its work in support of those families and the broader first-responder communities. 
‘The circumstances surrounding the Worcester investigation are an active matter for law enforcement. 
‘First H.E.L.P. will have no further comment on the specific circumstances of the investigation.’
Members of the search party were seen on Tuesday searching a nearby reservoir less than a mile away from the address. 
Officers were seen scouring the water with their guns drawn on a boat before surveying a small island. 
On Tuesday night, shortly before 11pm, officials said they would halt their search for the night and pick it back up on Wednesday morning. 
After another fruitless day of searching on Wednesday, the search continued Thursday.

Police returned Thursday to Coes Reservoir, which is close to where she was last seen. Massachusetts State Police marine units, state police helicopters and a local police unit with dogs trained to detect bodies in water were all at the scene. The search ended Thursday afternoon with plans to resume on Friday.
At the end of the fruitless search on Thursday afternoon, it was announced that it would resume on Friday.
