A female corrections officer fatally shot her New Jersey Transit bus driver boyfriend after he ended their relationship, before turning the gun on herself minutes later.
Piacenta Jackson ambushed her estranged boyfriend Ryon Reynolds as he arrived at the NJ Transit garage in Washington Township on Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson, 44, of Woodbury then fled the scene in her car with cops in pursuit.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. in a parking lot as Reynolds arrived for work.
The pair had dated, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed, but the relationship had recently ended.
Deptford police spotted Jackson’s car soon after the shooting and tried to stop the vehicle.
The suspect pulled into a restaurant parking lot in Mantua Township, got out of her car and shot herself, officials said. She died of a gunshot wound to the head.
“She personally and legally owned” the gun she used in Tuesday’s shootings, the prosecutor’s office reported.
Jackson worked at Southern State Correctional Facility in Cumberland County and was employed with the state Department of Corrections for nearly 14 years.

Autopsies showed Jackson died of a gunshot to the head while Reynolds died from a gunshot wound to the back.
‘They were coming in both directions and they blocked [her car] in,’ Mantua resident Jeff Gellenthin told the NJ.com. ‘I heard one pop … and the door was open and [police] all gathered around.’
The victim’s aunt, Rose Reynolds, said the family were still reeling from the news of his death.

‘I still can’t believe it,’ she said. ‘I can’t get it in my head yet. Ryon was the best. Everybody loved him.’
She explained that Reynolds and Jackson had been dating but he had recently chosen to end their relationship.
‘She went to his job and killed him,’ she said.
Rose Reynolds described her nephew as a ‘great guy’ and a former high school football star.
‘He worked so hard for so many years,’ she said.
A colleague of Reynolds, Rick Bucci, added that the victim was a ‘good man with a crazy girlfriend.’
Former Army National Guard staff sergeant, Piacenta Jackson,  worked for the Department of Corrections for 14 years. She was a corrections officer at Southern State Correctional Facility. Jackson joined the National Guard in 1998 and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011.
