A T-shirt police believe Connecticut mother Jennifer Dulos wore the day she vanished was found stained with her blood inside a bag her estranged husband allegedly dumped in a roadside trash can, according to a new report.
Investigators found the bloodied Vineyard Vines shirt, a bra, two mops and some sponges with blood on them during their search along Albany Avenue in Hartford in the days after the mom of five’s May 24 disappearance, law enforcement sources said.
Police also discovered a bra that they believe is hers as well as two mops and some sponges with small amounts of blood on them, according to law enforcement sources.
The items, found in a black contractor bag police recovered during their search along Albany Avenue several days after Dulos disappeared on May 24, are central to the investigation into what happened to Dulos – and what role her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, may have played in connection with her disappearance. Police have said there is video of Dulos throwing multiple bags into trash cans and dumpsters along Albany Avenue starting at about 7 p.m. on the day she disappeared.

Her husband, Fotis Dulos, 51, and his new partner, Michelle Troconis, were allegedly caught on camera ditching bags into garbage cans and dumpsters along the stretch, starting at about 7 p.m. the day Jennifer went missing.
The last stop police say Fotis made was to drop a FedEx package into a storm drain. A week later, cops say they fished out a package containing altered license plates belonging to a car he used to own.
Fotis’ DNA was also found mixed with Jennifer’s blood on a faucet inside her home in New Canaan, prosecutors said
Jennifer Dulos of New Canaan, Connecticut went missing May 24 after dropping her children off at school. At the time of Jennifer’s disappearance, she and her developer husband were embroiled in a nasty divorce battle.
She was last seen dropping their kids off at school the morning of May 24. Later, she missed two appointments in New York City and her car was found abandoned on a New Canaan road.

Her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, have since been charged with tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution after investigators found they allegedly dumped bags of bloodied clothing in roadside trash cans. They both pled not guilty and are free on $500,000 bond.
Meanwhile, the couple’s five children,  aged from 8 to 14, including two sets of twins, have been staying with Jennifer’s mother on New York’s Upper East Side.
Fotis and Troconis were arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution but are now free after posting $500,000 bail.
