Solano never came back, detectives later recovered two explicit videos on Altamirano-Solano’s phone that showed sex acts involving the women

He was found 8 hours later in the hotel room with a single gunshot wound to the chest

Surveillance footage from Caesars Palace captured two murder suspects walking and laughing with their victim less than 15 minutes before he was killed

The suspects, who are cousins, could be seen fleeing from the victim’s room and were later recorded escaping in a stolen car

One of the accused told police that she didn’t remember the night in question, due to the effects of a previous car accident

The women were charged and convicted of luring him up to the hotel room under promises of a threesome before killing and robbing him

Two Las Vegas cousins who lured a 25-year-old man to a hotel room for a threesome before robbing and killing him have been jailed for up to 25 years.  
The last time Bryan Altamirano-Solano was seen alive on May 17, 2023, he was headed up to a hotel room with Arionna Taylor, 22, and Erika Covington, 21. The two women are cousins.
Hours later Solano was discovered dead and the ladies gone. 
Detectives later recovered two explicit videos on Altamirano-Solano’s phone that showed sex acts involving the women. They pair, accused of bringing him up to the hotel room under promises of a threesome before killing and robbing him, plead guilty to second-degree murder.
As the pair were sentenced at a court Thursday, Covington shared her regrets at the bloody killing, just as her older cousin, Taylor, chose not to speak.  

The pair of Covington and Taylor were caught on camera at Caesar’s Palace flanking Bryan Altamirano-Solano as the trio headed for his room around 2.35 am, the night he was killed. He was found 8 hours later with a single gunshot wound to the chest

The women are seen again after their flight, with one of them holding Solano’s bag, while she charges her phone

The murder came to light about eight hours after surveillance camera footage shows a smiling Altamirano-Solano head for his room with the two women in tow. 
When he failed to check out, a housekeeper who went up to check on him found Solano dead with a single gunshot wound to the chest. 
Police launched an investigation into his murder. Footage from security cameras caught the two women walking with Altamirano-Solano inside Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas strip. 
They were seen laughing arm in arm but were captured on video running away from the room 15 minutes later. 
The surveillance footage and a slug found in the victim’s room that was matched to another crime involving Taylor led investigators to the suspects. 

Arionna Taylor, [photo], 22, refused to speak in court. Of her 25 year sentence, she will serve at least 10 years before eligibility for parole. A spent cartridge matching her gun from a previous crime, led detectives to her doorstep 

Erika Covington, 21, [photo], apologized to Altamirano-Solano’s family for the pain she caused them. Same as her cousin she was sentenced to 25 years in prison, with a minimum of 10 years before eligibility for parole 

The women initially pled not guilty to the crimes but accepted a plea deal for second-degree murder in November. 
On Thursday, Judge Tierra Jones accepted the terms of the plea agreement. The women are set to serve 10 to 25 years in prison. 
Prosecutors or police were never able to determine who pulled the trigger, but Nevada law allows for anyone who was involved in a murder to serve time for it, not just the person who committed the heinous act. 
The women were allowed an opportunity to speak in court and apologize for their horrific actions, to which Taylor declined. 
However, Covington elected to speak to Altamirano-Solano’s family, telling them, ‘I would like to send my condolences to Brian’s family.’ 
‘I deeply, genuinely apologize for the grief and the pain that’s been brought to you guys’ family.’
The victim’s father, Victor Altamirano, was present in court and asked for justice to be served in his son’s gruesome death. 
‘It wasn’t enough just taking his belongings, they had to kill him,’ he added. Altamirano-Solano’s mother joined the hearing online from outside the country. 
‘The pain that I felt was so deep,’ Nelly Altamirano said. ‘I felt like I just lost my life. I had so many questions. Why? Why my son?’

Authorities initially linked Covington and Taylor to the murder by matching surveillance footage to their social media profiles. 
The two women are cousins and Taylor had tagged Covington in a post on Instagram. 
The post pictured the two women in the same outfits they had on in the surveillance footage. 
When investigators approached the women about the crime, Covington initially said that they met Altamirano-Solano at the valet but that they didn’t communicate because of the language barrier. 
Taylor claimed that she experienced memory loss from a car accident and couldn’t recall what happened the night of Altamirano-Solano’s death. 
After authorities found the footage of the two women running away, they discovered a video of the pair getting into a stolen car and leaving the scene. 
They also noticed that the bag slung around Altamirano-Solano’s shoulder in the first video was the same one that the girls were seen running away with after going into his hotel room.  
Solano, a native of Nicaragua and was in the US seeking asylum before he was murdered in a Las Vegas hotel room in May 2023.
