A second possible victim has come forward accusing Usher of infecting her with the herpes virus.
Five years ago a legal complaint was filed against Grammy winner Usher at the Superior Court in Los Angeles. California law requires a person who knows or should know they are infected with genital herpes to avoid sexual contact with an uninfected person — or to warn potential partners before sexual contact occurs.
Usher was accused of “consciously and purposefully” withholding his herpes diagnosis from [a] woman “and continue to have unprotected sex.”
Lightening has just struck, at the same spot, years later.
Last week another woman came forward, accusing eight-time Grammy winner, Usher of potentially exposing her to herpes. That second’ Jane Doe’ has just confirmed that indeed she has contracted the STD, possibly from the “Confessions” crooner.
The unidentified Atlanta woman is suing the married singer for exposing her to the virus and has now updated her lawsuit to confirm she tested positive for the STD and is seeking $20 million in damages, instead of the previous $10 million.
Jane Doe, as she is referred to in the suit, reportedly found out the results on Saturday and was “devastated,” according to the gossip site.
TMZ reports that she increased her demands after learning the results, citing emotional distress, medical bills and punitive damages.
The unidentified woman has said that she performed oral sex on the “U Got it Bad” singer and had sex with him while using a condom during an April encounter in Atlanta, and the pair later had unprotected sex days later in New Orleans, TMZ reports.
The Atlanta woman has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Usher claiming she contracted an STD after engaging in unprotected sex with the singer – He did not divulge that he was carrying the virus
In the court document, the woman claims she first hooked up with the Usher in her Atlanta home back on April 16, at which time the singer wore a condom before they had intercourse.
She also acknowledged performing oral sex on Usher Raymond IV during their steamy session, according to the report. The pair hooked up again 12 days later in New Orleans, where they had sex in a hotel room, according to her account.
The suit alleges the defendant did not wear protection, significantly never warned her that he was carrying the herpes virus.
Though not alleging she was infected at the initial filing, the Jane Doe insisted she would never have slept with Usher if she knew about his herpes. Her lawsuit charged that she was entirely clueless about Usher’s sexually-transmitted disease until reports of the first lawsuit emerged.
She recently read about his settlement with the other woman, Jane Doe claimed, which revealed that Usher paid $1.1 million to another woman who claimed the R&B star infected her with herpes.
Details of the troubling first lawsuit was published by Radar Online, with documents pertaining to the 2012 settlement, in which the Usher paid $1.1 million to settle a lawsuit with a stylist who claimed the pop star infected her with herpes, court papers show.
In the complaint filed against Grammy winner Usher at the Superior Court in Los Angeles, alleged that then 31-year-old singer, Usher Raymond IV, aka ‘Usher’, was diagnosed with herpes in 2009 or 2010, according to the court papers.
Inspite of his status as an infected person, he had unprotected sex with the claimant without confessing his condition, the papers add.

The law is clear in California that: ‘It is illegal to knowingly or recklessly transmit an STD’. Usher the lawsuit stated, did just that when he told the victim he had tested negative for the virus, despite once having a “greenish discharge” oozed from his penis. Otherwise the complaint states, he had no signs of the infection and was labeled an “asymptomatic carrier” by doctors.
The victim said that after initially admitting concern, Usher later convinced her that an STD examination result was negative.
“Believing Raymond’s statements that it had been nothing and cleared up, [she] continued her relationship,” and they continued to engage in unprotected sex, court documents stated.
Their physical liaisons went without a hitch until three weeks after a passionate hookup when the victim, woke up “feeling very sick” with a “fever of 100 degrees, chills, headache, and aches and pains.”
She “also developed lesions and blisters in her vagina,” and was so terrified she sought treatment at urgent care, where a doctor promptly diagnosed her with herpes.
According to the document, Usher going by the pseudonym “Papa Bear” in messages, posted a check covering her medical bills totaling $2,754.40.
The singer then had his doctor call the woman to tell her that he did indeed carry the herpes virus and apparently, had for many years.
The legal documents noted that Usher was “exposed to herpes” in 2009 or 2010, around when he finalized his divorce to Tameka Foster after she accused him of cheating.

The Grammy-winning artist’s hits include “Confessions,” “Burn,” “You Make Me Wanna” and “Yeah!” married his current wife Grace Miguel, a former executive chef for “The Cosby Show,” in 2010, two years before the first herpes case settlement.
Usher has yet to publicly comment on the allegations.
