Flavia Higgs [left], showed husband Garret [right], just how displeased she was when he interrupted her ‘pleasure session’
A Florida woman struck her estranged husband in the face when he tried to enter her bedroom as she was “pleasuring herself,” according to an arrest affidavit. He forced his way into her bedroom because he thought he heard her having sex with another man, police said.
Flavia Higgs, a 42-year-old licensed private investigator, was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge after the wild ordeal in the bedroom of their Port St. Lucie home on Sept. 7, according to a police report.
Garret Higgs, 43, and Flavia had been living in a separate bedroom for more than a year, as both later told a responding officer.
Garret said he returned home and heard “moaning from the house” before walking toward the room and knocking on the door.
“He banged and she would not answer the door,” according to the police report. “He said he thought there was another man in his house and he used a screwdriver to open the door.”
Once he barged in, his humiliated wife tried to stop her husband and “physically escort him out” of the room as he tried to push past her and pushed her arm against a wall. She then struck Higgs in the face, the report states.
“He wasn’t sure if it was open or closed handed,” according to the report. “When this happened they both started screaming and yelling and she called 911.”
The arrest affidavit confirms that Flavia Higgs struck her estranged husband in the face when he tried to enter her bedroom as she was “pleasuring herself”
Garret Higgs, the police report stated, “thought there was another man in the house and he used a screwdriver to open the door.” At this point, Flavia sought to bar his entry to her bedroom and “tried to physically escort him out.” During the confrontation that ensued, Flavia “struck him in the face,” the affidavit alleges.
During police questioning, Flavia said the couple’s relationship was “failing” and that she “was pleasuring herself” when her spouse “barged into the room.”
Neither party suffered injuries, but since Flavia “was the first to initiate physical contact,” she was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. Flavia, a licensed private investigator, was booked at the county jail, from which she was later released.
