A Los Angeles based music producer and rapper was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to pimping out women he met through various social media sites.
Brandon Christopher Ramsay, known by his stage name, Ramsay Tha Great, forced four women from Orange County to prostitute themselves, according to CBS LA.
The district attorney said the 25-year-old rapper made thousands of dollars a week on the women.
One of the victims who thought she was a girlfriend said Ramsay demanded she make at least $1,000 a day. When she told him she didn’t want to prostitute anymore he threatened her with a gun.
The D.A. said Ramsay found his victims online and would use his social media presence to coax them into prostituting themselves for him. His Facebook page was littered with photos of him posting stacks of $100 bills.

Ramsay was busted in February after investigators with the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force contacted one of the women after seeing sex-for-hire ads featuring an 18-year-old girl and a 25-year-old woman.
The rapper pled guilty this week to four counts of pimping and pandering, one count of human trafficking and one count of assault with a firearm. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Brandon Christopher Ramsay, was arraigned on Jan 9, in Orange County Calif., on two felony counts of pimping and two felony counts of pandering by procuring, after he was busted on charges of pimping out two women in a southern California hotel.
The Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force were investigating sex-for-hire ads depicting an 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman.
An undercover officer contacted one of the victims and arranged to meet both victims at a motel on Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, prosecutors said.
Once the victims were contacted by the police, Ramsay allegedly called the 20-year-old woman’s cell phone multiple times asking where she was, authorities allege.
Prosecutors claim officers later observed Ramsay driving into the parking lot of the motel.
The defendant is accused of possessing evidence of pimping and sending text messages to the victims containing language consistent with pimping prior to his arrest, prosecutors said.
Just weeks earlier Ramsay filed charges against Chicago rapper Keith Cozart, aka Chief Keef, in Los Angeles, allegeing hw was the victim of home invasion, robbery and assault.
Ramsay accused Keef of storming his house with an AK-47 assault rifle and a group of five friends, on social media, Keef and his group viciously beat him up and stole items including $1,600 and a Rolex watch, over an incident that started when he argued with a woman at his residence, and the woman called Keef.
