The music mogul, 55, was been charged with two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, one count of racketeering and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Combs faced a sentence of up to life in prison if convicted of racketeering. On the charge of sex trafficking, he faced up to 15 years for each count.
Ultimately he was acquitted of all three of the top charges.

The jury of eight men and four women acquitted Combs of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, related to allegations that he used his money, power and frightening physical force to manipulate his girlfriends into hundreds of drug-fueled sex marathons with the men.
Conviction for the music industry stalwart was on the lesser counts under the federal Mann Act for transporting people, including his girlfriends and paid male sex workers, to engage in prostitution.
Lesser charges, but felonies no less, with each count carrying a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

Prosecutors signaled that will ask for a 20-year sentence for the convictions. The judge would decide the sentencing and whether they run concurrently.
Defense attorneys requested the court release Combs on a $1million bond so he can await sentencing in his Miami home.
The judge said he will decide on the release after giving time for the prosecution and defense to submit letters with their arguments, which are due by 1pm EST.
